The Music & Wellness Project was prompted by research indicating that “Music is a high impact, low cost intervention for stress and pain relief” (Sadler) I received a mini-grant of $5000 from the University to pursue this project that included recording a classical CD for voice and piano focused on calm and inspiration along with creating a student group with the intent to use our music for health and wellness wherever we could. We created a student group who observed the recording of my CD project and then went to work making music for the community.
